Mexico Trip - September 8, 2007
I`ve been in Mexico since Labor day, heading back to NYC on Friday, Sept. 14th. I flew in to Mexico CIty with my good friend Ian MacDonald and from there made a stop in Toluca (not recommended -- nothing to do there) and then went on to San Miguel de Allende and Guanjuato, where I am now.
I bumped into an old colleague from the Family Academy here who`s giving weeklong African dance workshops here in Guanajuato and then starting again Monday in San Miguel de Allende. I always wanted to take his classes when I saw him teaching and saw the kids` performances, and told him so at the time. Now I`m going to take advantage of this opportunity and learn something really cool. I`m excited!
